********************************************************** Description: TOOLBOX II V4.0 release notes Itemnumber: S38-100-4 Revision: 0003 Date of Release: 2007-02-01 ********************************************************** ****************************************** *--- Installation of the service pack ---* ****************************************** The installation is performed by starting "service.exe" from the root directory of the data medium or after download from the corresponding directory. This Service Pack must be installed on client and server. Note: When working with network databases (peer server) it is necessary to install the same TOOLBOX II- Version on all clients and the server. (to prevent database revisions problems!) How it is detected if a service pack has been installed? After the installation of a service pack, the current service pack number is displayed in the tools startup window. ********************** *--- NEW FEATURES ---* ********************** * ORACLE Security Settings To improve necessary ORACLE security new internal data base users and passwords are used in version TOOLBOX II service pack 3. For users this changes does not have effects in normal operation. ------------------------------------------ ! Important hint compatibility SCALA 250 ! ------------------------------------------ TOOLBOX II V4.0 Service Pack 3 supports only SCALA 250 Revison 6.30.05 or higher! ------------------------------------------------- ! Important hint for project specifical data base access or project specifical data base tools, which are not part of TOOLBOX II software system ------------------------------------------------- Project specifical database scripts or project specifical data base tools, which access TOOLBOX II data base, are not supported in TOOLBOX II V4.0 Service Pack 3 in cause of changed security settings.   * IEC 61850 Read SCD files when importing SCD files this following new function are supported: - Support of Setting Group Control Block (SGCB) - Import of non conformal data attributes - Create signals for device mode and behaviour * Infotype file To support the user in the engineering process, documents (files) such as circuit diagrams, checklists, notices etc. can also be stored in the process technique of the OPM II. For this purpose a special info type (OPMSTD_FILE) is made available. * Display event list BC 1703 ACP Events of protection and process control are indicated in a common spreadsheet in the TOOLBOX. The user can sort and filter all events. * Data Distribution Center - Check of import data A new check in data distribution center is implemented when importing data (e.g. warning when overwriting plants with double IDs). * ChangeLog - Additional log actions New actions are logged. (see online help OPM | ChangeLog) *************************** *--- FAULT CORRECTIONS ---* *************************** OPM II GENERAL -------------- * OPM: Long strings are cut off with formula text parameters (250) in the bulk edit (VIE-022078) When the user edit a long formula in the bulk edit and presses 'Enter', the end of the string is cut off. * OPM: Wizard 'renaming CAEx plus signals' changes the data with option 'keep signal' (VIE-022207) When copying an AU in the Wizard 'rename signals' new signal names are entered. After changing the selection from 'rename signals' to 'keep signals', all signals are renamed falsely. * OPM: Generation of code does not work (a signal is read and written) (VIE-022212) If a signal is read and written in different tasks, code generating does not work any longer. * OPM: Input domain of command time is invalid (VIE-022292) When changing command time the value is not accepted. * OPM: Page copy in the BC1703 ACP (VIE-022324) Pages are always copied at the end. A page cannot be inserted in any place. * OPM: Hardware/Firmware configuration in OPM (VIE-022582) When over-equipping system elements in OPM a query is indicated to over-equip or not. After selecting 'No' the system element although is over-equipped. * OPM: Error when importing SCD files (IEC 61850) (VIE-022583) When importing SCD files several data points are created wrongly (e.g. 'pdGGIO140/ISCSO7' desc='Flt Locator: Distance to fault' ). * OPM: Exception when transferring defaults (VIE-022602) Exeception when transferring defaults with opened navigator. * OPM: After sort in signal rename dialog signals (CAEx plus, AU copy) are wrongly assigned (VIE-022468) When copying an automation unit after sort in signal rename dialog signals re wrongly assigned. PLANT MANAGEMENT ---------------- * AMG: TOOLBOX II does not respond after import (VIE-022033) It is possible to import in the DDC AU parameters, although the AU type of the AU does not agree with the AU parameters which can be imported - e.g. AK 1703-parameters can be imported as 'third-party product' defined AU. If this AU is parametrized, TBII crashes. CAEX PLUS --------- * CAEx plus: OPM/CAEx plus: images of signals may not end with a blank character (VIE-021667) If an images ends with a blank character (corresponds with name of sihnal in CAEX plus, elements of structures cannot be selected (an error must be indicated by transforming). * CAEx plus online test without installed CAEx plus (VIE-022603) The CAEx plus online starts with the following message 'errors in serialnumber', if the toolset CAEx plus is not installed. OPM II SOURCE DATA MANAGER -------------------------- * QDV: Source data management import (VIE-022568) When importing changes of values are not recognized with change report option. TB II GENERAL ------------- * TBII: Errors in the SAT230 destination system when generating type identification TI48 (VIE-020905) Missing support of data points with TI48 was implemented. * TBII: Problems with display of already used binary inputs of BC1703ACP protection board (VIE-021034) There is no complete support of the function 'use of binary inputs indicate'. OPM II TRANSFORMER ------------------ * UMS: Generating of detailed routing records in OPM works only by second transform process (VIE-022294) Detailed routing records, which are not generated with first transformation, are only generated with repeated transformation. OPM II SAT 230 -------------- * 230: Missing decimal places with threshold values in the SAT230 link (VIE-021091) Decimal places cannot be entered in SAT230 links (measured values, threshold values 1-4) . At least 2 decimal places are necessary . * 230: OPM: Transform SAT230 SK mode with check of periphery address/test address (VIE-021771) Repair of performance problems when checking the periphery address/text address (only SAT230 SK mode). OPM II SAT 250 -------------- * 250: SAT 250 in the OPM (VIE-022591) Deleted PVs are not transferred to the SCALA (CAE), if the CAE is not initialized.
